Midland – Multi-Car Collision on FM 1788 Injured 3

Three people were sent to a hospital after getting involved in a car accident on Farm to Market Road 1788 in Midland, Saturday morning.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m. on FM 1788. For yet unknown reasons, a semi-truck has become disabled along the southbound lane and got struck by a truck. A third truck was not able to avoid the wrecked vehicles, hitting them in the process.
All three drivers of the vehicles involved sustained various injuries as a result of the collision. They were all taken to an area hospital where they were listed in an unknown condition. Responding officers withheld their identification.
The Midland Police Department was requested at the scene to assist in the clearing of the site. They have yet to determine the reason that caused the first car to become disabled.
