Midland – Man Struck and Killed by Car on Hill Avenue

A pedestrian crash on Hill Avenue near Midkiff Road caused the death of one person, Saturday evening.
Just after 7:00 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Hill Ave and Midkiff Rd to assist in an auto versus pedestrian crash. According to initial reports, a man was walking across the street when a passing car struck him. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the victim lying on the ground with fatal injuries. He later died, reports said.
Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of his next of kin.
No one else was injured.
The Midland Police Department is still determining the circumstances leading up to the accident. No charges have been made at this time.
