Midland –Jeniffer Vodron Struck by Car on Big Spring Street

A 36-year-old woman died after getting struck by a vehicle on Big Spring Street near Dormard Avenue in Midland, Sunday morning.
The fatality was identified as a 36-year-old single mother, Jenifer Vodron. Jenifer worked for her brother-in-law Rick Lewis at Bros Construction, according to a local news source.
According to initial reports, the tragic crash took place at around 7:00 a.m. in the middle of the intersection of Big Spring and Dormand. Jenifer Vodron was walking along the cross street when, for yet unknown reasons, she stumbled and fall. Vodron was then hit by a passing Jeep Wrangler in the process.
The impact of the crash left Vodron with serious injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Midland Police Department and emergency crews who responded to the scene.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
