Midland County – Man Killed in CR 1232 Collision Identified

Midland County law enforcement officials have identified the driver who died in a fatal solo-car accident on County Road 1232, Sunday, January 5th.
The fatality was identified as 25-year-old Fernando Munoz.
At around 4:00 a.m., DPS troopers were dispatched to CR 1232 following reports of a vehicle that had overturned. According to the initial investigation, a Dodge 1500 was seen traveling along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it rolled over after drifting off the road. The driver, Fernando Munoz, suffered from fatal injuries and died at the scene.
No other casualties were reported.
Local police are still determining the reason why Munoz lost control of the car and left the roadway. Anyone who has information about the collision is encouraged to get in contact with the authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
