Medics respond to major hit-and-run crash near NW Houston mall

HOUSTON, TX — A hit-and-run collision was reported late Friday morning near northwest Houston’s Willowbrook Mall, according to City of Houston.

Houston police, firefighters, and EMS personnel all responded to the scene at 7988 Farm-to-Market Road West, near State Highway 249, at around 11:07 a.m.

Details are limited, but authorities indicated an “FSRA” event in which one party failed to stop and render aid to another party after a serious accident resulting in likely injuries or death.

At this time, no further updates have been shared regarding the condition of those involved or the circumstances behind the incident.
