Medics respond to major crash near The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A serious vehicle accident was reported late Friday morning near The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in the city’s Museum District, according to City of Houston.

Houston police, firefighters, and EMS personnel responded to the scene at 5301 Montrose Boulevard shortly after 11:12 a.m.

Details are limited, but authorities said a major collision resulted in an “EMS event,” indicating likely injuries to at least one person.

No information has been released on the condition of the involved parties or the circumstances behind the crash, but as of this writing, Houston police listed no fatalities.
