Medics respond to major collision on Maxey Rd in NE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A serious vehicle accident was reported Wednesday morning near Maxey Park in northeast Houston’s Northshore neighborhood, according to City of Houston.
Houston police, firefighters, and EMS crews responded to the scene at 444 Maxey Road, near Woodforest Boulevard, at about 10:15 a.m.
Little information has been provided, but authorities said the crash resulted in an “EMS event,” indicating likely injuries to at least one person.
As of this writing, Houston police said no fatalities were reported in the incident.
