Medics respond to major collision on Kirby Dr in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A serious vehicle accident was reported late Thursday morning in southwest Houston’s Old Braeswood neighborhood, according to City of Houston.

Houston police, firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene at 6751 Kirby Drive at about 11:30 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but authorities said it led to an “EMS event,” indicating likely injuries to at least one person.

No information has been shared on the condition of the parties involved, but as of this writing, Houston police said no fatalities were reported.
