Medics respond to hit-and-run collision on Gessner Rd in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A major hit-and-run crash was reported late Tuesday morning near the Pointwest Shopping Center in west Houston, according to City of Houston.
Houston police, firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene at 5698 Gessner Road, just south of the Westpark Tollway, shortly after 11:00 a.m.
Details are limited, but authorities listed an “FSRA” event, in which one party failed to stop and render aid to another party following a serious crash resulting in likely injuries or death.
As of this writing, no information has been provided on the condition of the victims or the circumstances behind the incident.
