Medics respond to crash on Lorraine St in Houston’s Northside Village

HOUSTON, TX — A major vehicle collision was reported Thursday morning in the Downtown end of Houston’s Northside Village, according to City of Houston.

Houston police, firefighters and EMS crews responded to the scene at 1246 Lorraine Street, near the Gano Street intersection, at around 9:30 a.m.

Authorities indicated a serious accident resulting in an “EMS event,” suggesting likely injuries to at least one person.

Authorities have not released further details on the parties involved, but as of this writing, Houston police confirmed no fatalities were reported in the event.
