Marshall – Jacrobi Scott Killed in Truck Collision on Highway 59

A Louisiana man who died in a fatal car accident involving an 18-wheeler truck on Highway 59 has been identified by authorities, May 10, Friday.
The fatality was identified as Jacrobi Scott. He is a resident of Denham Spring, Louisiana. He transferred to the college from Grambling State University last fall and was named the starting quarterback this spring. He was majoring in computer science and digital arts.
According to initial reports, the tragic crash took place at the southbound lanes of US 59 North. Two vehicles were attempting to make a turn onto Loop 390 when one of the cars got struck by a semi that was heading north. Details surrounding the accident are unclear at this time.
Scott, who was an occupant in the vehicle, suffered from life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
