Marlin – Man Died Following Highway 7 Collision

A multi-car accident on State Highway 7 in Marlin resulted in the death of a man, a local news source reported.
At around 5:00 p.m., police responded to a call reporting a three-vehicle collision on SH 7. Police said a Hyundai, Chevrolet, and another undescribed car somewhat collided with each other as they approached a bridge. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time.
Emergency crews said one person involved suffered from fatal head injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has not yet been identified. Meanwhile, a female occupant was sent to a nearby hospital where she was treated for her hip injuries. Her condition was not released either.
Marlin investigators have yet to determine the factors that may have contributed to the accident. No charges have been made at this time.
