Manor – Women Hospitalized Following Pedestrian Accident on Lockwood Springs Rd

At least two people were sent to a hospital after getting struck by a car on Lockwood Springs Road, Monday.
In the report released by police officials, the auto versus pedestrian crash occurred at the 8700 block of Lockwood Springs Road. Two women were seen walking along the roadway when they were hit by an undescribed vehicle. One of the victims ended up getting pinned between a car and a tree, leaving her seriously injured. The other woman also sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they immediately transported both victims to the hospital where they received proper medical treatment. Their condition, as well as identification, was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
No further details are available as the investigation is still in progress.
