Manor – Head-on Collision on Briarcreek Loop Leaves Officer Injured

A police officer was hurt after colliding with a vehicle operated by juveniles on Briarcreek Loop in Manor, early Sunday morning.
At around 4:40 a.m., police received a call reporting a crash at 13700 block of Briarcreek Loop. According to reports, a vehicle was reportedly escaping a burglary incident when it crashed head-on with a police unit. The force of the impact injured the officer occupying the vehicle. It was not confirmed if the officer was sent to the hospital for treatment. His identification was withheld as well.
The teen operating the vehicle was arrested by local authorities. Fortunately, the nine passengers of the vehicle was not injured. They were all juveniles and were picked up by their respective parents.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
