Man riding bicycle fatally struck by car in Humble

HUMBLE, TX – A bicyclist was killed after he was struck by a driver in Humble this evening, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
To our community members in the Humble area: @HCSOTexas units are investigating a fatal crash at 1904 FM 1960 East, near Wilson. An adult male riding a bicycle was struck by a car. The adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Driver of striking car remained at the scene. pic.twitter.com/cFpD34ac8v

The crash occurred at 1904 FM 1960 E at about 5:20 p.m., when a car collided with a man riding a bicycle.
The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, died at the scene. He has been identified only as an adult male.
The driver reportedly remained at the scene after the crash and was not reported as injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
