Man kills passenger after leading police on chase

HOUSTON, TX – A man killed a passenger inside his vehicle after leading the police on a chase on the morning of Sunday, October 25, News 4 San Antonio reports.
Around 3:45 a.m. that morning, officers attempting to pull over a suspect on drug possession near the intersection of the Gulf Freeway and Monroe. The suspect sped off, speeding down a nearby street and crashing into a bayou. A passenger inside the car was killed upon impact.
An officer crashed into a concrete barrier while chasing the suspect but was not hurt. The suspect suffered a broken hand and is now facing felony murder charges.
