Man killed, woman in critical condition after car crash near Space Ctr

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed and a woman suffered serious injuries after a vehicle crashed near the Houston Space Center early this morning, according to FOX 26 Houston.
The crash happened in the 19000 block of Space Center Blvd at about 1:45 a.m. when a four-door passenger vehicle collided with a fence.
The driver, a man whose identity was not revealed, was thrown out of the car during the accident and died at the scene.
A woman, a passenger, was ejected through the windshield, then was taken to the hospital for the treatment of life-threatening injuries.
It is unknown at this time if the driver was impaired when the accident occurred.
The accident remains under investigation.
