PORTER, TX – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Porter on Saturday morning, the Houston Chronicle reports.
The man was driving a Jeep on Interstate 69 near FM 1314 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a pole. The vehicle then burst into flames. The crash was reported around 4 a.m.
The driver was declared dead at the scene by emergency responders.
