HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed in a possible hit-and-run on Aldine Westfield Road on Sunday morning, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.

An unknown person was driving a 2005 tan Chevrolet Malibu on Aldine Westfield Road early Sunday morning. The driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, driving onto a grassy area along the highway. Authorities believe that the vehicle also hit a nearby culvert.

Investigators found the victim a few feet away from the car. Evidence collected at the scene indicates that the victim was not the driver of the car nor was he thrown from the vehicle. It is believed that he was pulled and removed from the car.

The case is now being investigated as a hit-and-run crash.
