Man killed in drunk driving accident on the North Loop East

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed in a drunk driving accident on the North Loop East on the morning of Saturday, March 13, according to the Houston Police Department.
A 28-year-old male, who has not yet been identified, was driving a black BMW near 9100 North Loop East when he lost control of his car and slammed into a nearby guardrail. He was declared dead at the scene of the crash while a passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized. The 31-year-old passenger is reported to be in stable condition.
Both the driver and passenger were drinking before the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
