Man killed in boating accident in the Houston Ship Channel

CHAMBERS COUNTY, T.X. – A man was killed in a boating accident on the Houston Ship Channel this Sunday, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reports.
The victim’s boat turned sharply near channel marker 67, five miles east of Kemah, throwing an adult and two children into the water. The children were pulled onto the boat by its driver.
The victim, 40-year-old Robert Scarbrough, was not rescued and his body was recovered on Monday.
