Man killed in ATV accident in Baytown

BAYTOWN, TX – A man was tragically killed in an ATV accident in Baytown on Tuesday, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The victim, Michael Bennett, was riding an ATV near 7400 Harlem Street when he accidentally applied the front brakes instead of the rear brakes which caused the ATV to roll to the right. Bennett was thrown onto the roadway after the collision.

He was rushed to the hospital via LifeFlight but later succumbed to his injuries.
