Man killed after pickup truck rolls on top of him in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man died Wednesday night after a pickup truck rolled over on top of him on Wednesday night.

According to a report by Fox 26 Houston, the crash took place at about 8:30 p.m. within the 6300 block of Windswept Lane, near Greenridge Drive.

Police say two drivers were in a physical altercation prior to the crash when a Toyota Tundra pickup truck rear-ended a Honda Civic.

after the fight, the driver of the Honda jumped onto the side of the pickup as it began to drove away. The driver then lost control of the truck, causing it to flip on its side and onto the other driver.

The driver of the Honda has pronounced dead on the scene. The driver in the pickup fled on foot.

It is unclear if any arrests have been made as of this writing.
