Man killed after falling onto Gulf Fwy from back of pickup

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed after he fell out of the back of a pickup truck on the Gulf Freeway late last night and was left alone at the scene by the driver, according to KTRK.
The accident occurred on the Gulf Freeway, near Beltway 8, at about 11 p.m., when the victim fell from the back of a white pickup truck and onto the highway.
The driver failed to stop after the victim fell.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, is thought to have died from the impact of the fall.
Authorities continue to search for the driver and to investigate the collision.
