Man hospitalized after crashing car into train in Midtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A driver was hospitalized early Thursday after a collision involving a Metro Rail train in Houston’s Midtown neighborhood, according to News4SanAntonio.
Houston police said the incident took place near Alabama Street and Main Street just after 4:00 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the driver did not stop as the train approached, leading to the collision.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital in serious condition.
Authorities have not released further information at this time.
