Man hospitalized after being attacked by multiple dogs in NW Harris Co.

HOUSTON, TX – A man was critically injured following a dog attack in northwest Harris County on Wednesday morning.
According to a report by KPRC, the 67-year-old male victim was out for a walk within the 4300 block of Queens Retreat Drive at about 6:30 a.m. when the attack occurred.
The attack took place in front of the home of a retired sheriff’s deputy. He was able to run out and shoot one of the dogs. The other dog was shot as it was attacking the animal control officer.
The victim was flown to the hospital from a nearby church parking lot in critical condition.
Both dogs apparently survived the shooting.
