Man found dead inside crashed vehicle had been shot over 20 times

HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot over 20 times early this morning and was found dead by police inside a crashed vehicle in southwest Houston, reports KPRC2.
The incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. in the 13200 block of Fondren Road.
Officers discovered the victim, a man in his early- to mid-twenties, dead inside a car that had been shot with multiple bullets. The car had crashed into a curb when authorities responded to the shooting.
According to police, the victim is not registered as the owner of the vehicle.
The incident is still under investigation.
