Man drowns after being trapped under capsized boat in Galveston Bay

RED BLUFF, TX – A boat rolled over in Galveston Bay yesterday, leading to the death of a person who became trapped underneath, according to KHOU.
The accident happened near Red Bluff Point at about 9:50 a.m. when a boat was pushed over by the wake of a passing ship. It rolled over, trapping a 32-year-old man beneath it.
The victim, who was not publicly identified, drowned as a result.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
