Man dies of injuries sustained in crash on McNair Street

HOUSTON, TEXAS – A man died of injuries sustained in a crash on McNair Street on June 7, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, Jerald Vaughn, was driving a red 1993 Chevrolet pickup near 2100 Nancy Rose Street when he was hit by a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Eliseo Esteban-Sanchez at the road’s intersection with McNair Street.
Vaughn refused treatment at the scene and died of injuries four days later on June 11.
Sanchez reportedly ran a stop sign and was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He has been arrested and charged with a DWI.
