Man dies in hit-and-run crash on Synott Road

HOUSTON, TX – A man died in a hit-and-run crash on Synott Road on the night of Sunday, December 27, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.
@HCSO_4Patrol units responded to a reported auto-ped at 8800 Synott Rd. Prelim info an adult male victim was taken by EMS to hospital where he did not survive. The adult male victim was hit by a car near 8800 Synott Road around 9:20 p.m. The vehicle involved, possibly a tan SUV, did not stop at the scene. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
An investigation into the crash remains underway.
