Man dies from injuries sustained in early June hit-and-run crash

HOUSTON, TX – According to the Houston Police Department, a man has died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash that took place on June 6.
The victim, a 54-year-old man, was crossing near 7400 Long Point Road, not in a crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle of an unknown make and model. The driver did not stop at the scene to render aid to the victim.
A witness found the victim lying in the road and called the police. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died of his injuries on Monday, June 14.
