HOUSTON, TX – A press release from the Houston Police Department reports that a man has died from injuries sustained in an accident on the Northwest Freeway on Saturday, May 9.
Authorities say that the 49-year-old male victim was driving his gray Honda VTX 1300 motorcycle westbound when he lost control of his vehicle near Pinemont Drive. The force of the accident ejected the victim from his vehicle.
Emergency personnel rushed the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital, but he, unfortunately, died of his injuries on May 11. Investigators do not believe he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
