Man dies from injuries from early June car wreck

HOUSTON, TX – The victim in an early June car accident on Fairbanks North Houston Road has died from his injuries, according to a press release from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The press release states that the victim, John Marino, was driving on Fairbanks North Houston Road in a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck when he ran the red light at the street’s intersection with Taub Road. He then crashed into a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Crystal Bustamente. His truck then hit a nearby curb and became overturned. He was thrown from the vehicle.
Authorities rushed him to Memorial Hermann where he died of his injuries on June 28.
