HOUSTON, TX – A man died after a teenager crashed into a tree in north Houston on Thursday night, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Authorities say a 15-year-old girl was driving a Chrysler sedan northbound near 900 Tidwell Road when she drove onto a median and crashed into a nearby tree. A male passenger in the front seat was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared deceased.
An early investigation suggests that marijuana may have been involved in the accident, but investigators are still working to determine whether or not the girl was a legal driver and if charges will be filed.
