Man dies after running red light on Lockwood Drive

HOUSTON, TX – A man died after running a red light on Lockwood Drive on the morning of Friday, October 9, according to the Houston Police Department.
Authorities say the 53-year-old victim was driving a red Chevrolet Silverado southbound when he ran a red light near 5400 Lockwood Drive. He then struck a nearby light pole.
The man was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was declared dead.
