Man dead after crashing motorcycle into tree in Magnolia

MAGNOLIA, TX – A motorcyclist died after crashing into a tree on Nichols Sawmill Road in Magnolia this evening, according to details provided by the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

The collision happened on southbound Nichols Sawmill Rd near Cindy Lynn Lane and Baneberry Road at around 7 p.m., as a driver was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound at what was described as a very high rate of speed. He then collided with a tree.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the collision.
