Man critically injured after pedestrian crash on Aldine Bender Rd

HOUSTON, TX – A man was seriously injured yesterday after being struck in a pedestrian crash in north Houston on Aldine Bender Road, according to KHOU.
The accident happened in the 90 block of Aldine Bender as a driver, leaving a gas station, collided with a man attempting to cross the street.
The victim, whose identity was not revealed, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
According to the report, he did not cross at a crosswalk.
At this time, police do not suspect that the driver was under the influence, and it is unclear if the driver will be facing charges.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
