Man charged with intoxication manslaughter after fatal crash on the North Sam Houston Parkway

HUMBLE, TX – A man was charged with intoxication manslaughter after a fatal crash on the North Sam Houston Parkway last night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say Lance Semere was operating a 2014 Camaro near 10300 North Sam Houston Parkway East with his father, Lawrence Semere, in the passenger seat. Lance lost control of his vehicle and struck a nearby guardrail which pierced the inside of the Camaro.

His father was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Lane was determined to be intoxicated at the time of the incident and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The crash remains under investigation.
