Man and woman severely burned in late-night Kingwood house fire

KINGWOOD, TX – A man and a woman were sent to the hospital with severe burn injuries following a house fire in the Kingwood area last night, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.
The incident occurred at a two-story home in the 2000 block of Aspen Glade Drive, located near Hidden Pines Drive and the Eastex Freeway, at about 10 p.m.
Two people were able to escape the fire before it was too late. One of those victims was airlifted to the hospital with severe burn injuries.
The second victim was taken via ground ambulance to the hospital, also with severe burns.
The fire remains under investigation.
