Man airlifted to hospital after rollover crash on Katy Fwy service rd

KATY, TX – A man was airlifted to the hospital after a rollover crash on the Katy Freeway service road early this morning, according to KHOU.
The crash happened on the westbound service road near Westside Parkway at about 2:30 a.m., after the driver of a black Toyota Camry ran off the side of the roadway. The Camry then crashed into multiple trees and overturned several times.
The driver was trapped within the wreckage and had to be rescued by emergency crews. After being assisted, the victim was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
No other people were inside the vehicle.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
