Major wreck shuts down lanes on the South Loop

HOUSTON, TX – A major wreck shut down lanes on the South Loop on the night of Tuesday, November 17, the Houston Police Department reports.
All westbound lanes of IH-610 South Loop at SH-288 are shut down due to a major crash. Expect delays and find alternate routes. #houtraffic

The accident was reported at the South Loop’s intersection with State Highway 288 around 11:53 p.m. The wreck shut down all nearby westbound lanes. Authorities advised drivers to seek alternate routes.
