HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A major vehicle collision was reported Tuesday afternoon near the Texas Department of Public Safety office in Spring’s Stone Forest area, according to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable for Precinct 4.

Constables responded to the scene on Spring Cypress Road before the Kuykendahl Road intersection at around 12:39 p.m.

Few details have been released, but photos shared by the constable show severe front-end damage to a silver SUV and driver’s side damage to a black pickup truck. At least one fire truck and multiple police units were seen responding to the event.

Authorities shut down Kuykendahl Road in the area as investigators worked the scene, but later reopened lanes shortly after 1:00 p.m.
