Major hit-and-run collision reported on Dixie Dr in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — Houston police responded to a serious hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning in southeast Houston’s South Park area, according to City of Houston.

The incident took place at 6121 Dixie Drive, in an industrial neighborhood, at around 7:52 a.m.

Few details have been released, but Houston police described an FSRA event in which one party failed to stop and render aid to another party after an injury collision.

Authorities have not confirmed the number of people hurt or the extent of their injuries.

No information has been provided on the suspect party at this time.
