Major collision reported on W Lake Houston Pkwy in far NE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — Multiple emergency crews responded to a crash Wednesday morning in far northeast Houston’s The Groves area, according to City of Houston.

The accident happened at 3498 West Lake Houston Parkway and was first reported shortly before 11:10 a.m.

Few details have been released, but Houston police, fire crews, and paramedics all arrived at the scene.

Authorities described a serious crash resulting in an “EMS event.”

It was not confirmed whether anyone was seriously injured, but Houston police said no fatalities were reported.
