Major collision reported near residence on Renwick Dr in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A serious vehicle accident was reported late Friday morning in a residential neighborhood in southwest Houston’s Meyerland area, according to City of Houston.

Houston police, firefighters, and EMS personnel responded to the scene at 8448 Renwick Drive, near St. Philip’s United Methodist Church, at around 11:26 a.m.

Few details have been released, but authorities said the crash resulted in an “EMS event,” indicating likely injuries to at least one person.

No information has been shared regarding the condition of those involved, but as of this writing, Houston police reported no fatalities in the event.
