Madisonville – Friday Crash on East Main Street

A t-bone collision on East Main Street injured two deputy officers, late Friday night.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 11:30 p.m. at the 700 block of East Main Street. Based on the report released by responding officers, a sport utility vehicle of a Madison County Sheriff’s deputy officer, for yet unknown reasons, t-boned a vehicle of a Madisonville police officer. The impact of the collision injured both officers. The deputy sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the second officer suffered from a few minor injuries and was treated on scene.
No identification has been released at this time.
