Lufkin – Rhonda Finch Injured after Two-Vehicle Collision on South First Street

Lufkin law enforcement officials have identified the 48-year-old local resident who got injured after getting involved in a car accident on South First Street, Tuesday morning.
According to police officers, a crash at the 1500 block of South First Street was reported just before 6:00 a.m. A 1998 Mercury driven by Rhonda Finch, 48, was parked at the outside lane of the roadway when a passing 2012 Ford pickup truck struck its rear. The force of the impact left Finch with a serious leg injury. She was rushed to a hospital in Tyler where she received medical treatment. As per medical emergency crews, the injury was not considered life-threatening.
The driver of the Ford, identified as Brady Kelly, 27, of Lufkin, was not hurt.
No citations were issued at this time as the crash remains under investigation at this time.
