Lubbock – Victims of Traffic Crash on Highway 84 Identified

The elderly man who was killed in a car crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck has been named by Lubbock law enforcement officials, according to a local news source.
Authorities said the victim was identified as 80-year-old Dwain Ed Kuhler.
Initial reports show that a Dwain Kuler was traveling along Highway 84 near County Road 1700 when it crashed into a motorcycle as it enters the intersection. The impact of the collision seriously injured Kuhler, killing him on scene. Meanwhile, the operator of the motorcycle also sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. He was later identified as 32-year-old Zackary Lynn Springer.
No one else was injured.
Lubbock investigators arrived at the scene to assist in the clearing. The crash remains under investigation.
