Lubbock – Vehicle Collision on 50th Street Leaves 1 Injured

The Lubbock Police Department is conducting an investigation about a traffic accident on 50th Street, Monday evening.

Just before 7:00 p.m., Lubbock responding officers arrived at 50th St near Quaker Avenue to assist in a crash involving two vehicles. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that one person suffered from serious injuries as a result of the accident. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he was given proper medical care. His condition was not released at this time.

No one else was injured.

Police are encouraging anyone who has information relevant to the case to come forward and cooperate with the investigation. You may get in contact with LPD for more details.
