Lubbock – Two-Car Crash on Clovis Highway

The Lubbock Police Department is investigating a vehicle accident on Clovis Highway, Wednesday morning.
At approximately 6:00 a.m., police received a notification reporting a collision between a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Chevrolet pickup truck. According to the initial reports, a Ford F-150 was reportedly traveling near 3500 block of Clovis Hwy when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crashed into a Chevy pickup.
Two drivers of the trucks sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The Chevrolet driver was taken to a medical facility with moderate injuries while the Ford driver sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene. Their identification was not released by authorities pending notification of their next of kin.
Area investigators arrived at the scene to gather more information relevant to the case.
